How Psychic works in PokéSurvivor
The game ships a simplified type chart, not the mainline one, so Psychic does not carry every interaction you may remember. It hits fighting for 2× and poison for 2× and is resisted by psychic for 0.5×, steel for 0.5× and dark for 0×. Against everything else it stays at 1×, so Psychic damage is a safe default rather than a matchup pick. The chart lives in the same source snapshot as every other number on this page.
Psychic partners and where they rank
96 of the 966 partners carry Psychic, 58 of them as part of a dual typing. 25 sit in the 5★ pool and 1 are free starters. The strongest is Mewtwo at rank 2 with 118 HP and 133 speed, while Ralts sits at rank 940. The median three-stat percentile across the group is 58.4, which is roughly level with the roster average of about 50.
What hits Psychic hardest
bug, dark and ghost deal double damage into Psychic. It takes half damage from fighting and psychic. No type is fully blocked by it. For dual-type partners the multipliers stack, so a Psychic partner that also carries a second type can end up with weaknesses that neither type has on its own — check the partner page before assuming Psychic is the defensive story.
Psychic moves and their damage
6 moves in the pool are Psychic. By raw damage per second at level 1 the order starts with Mist Ball at 23.6 damage per second, Confusion at 22.4 damage per second and Psybeam at 14.8 damage per second. Level 5 and the matching attack multiplier change that order for individual partners, so the partner pages list each pool's own ranking instead of a single site-wide one. 6 of them can evolve, and the evolution is always a card pick during a run, never a permanent purchase.
