How Fighting works in PokéSurvivor
The game ships a simplified type chart, not the mainline one, so Fighting does not carry every interaction you may remember. It hits dark for 2×, ice for 2×, normal for 2×, rock for 2× and steel for 2× and is resisted by bug for 0.5×, fairy for 0.5×, flying for 0.5×, poison for 0.5×, psychic for 0.5× and ghost for 0×. Against everything else it stays at 1×, so Fighting damage is a safe default rather than a matchup pick. The chart lives in the same source snapshot as every other number on this page.
Fighting partners and where they rank
68 of the 966 partners carry Fighting, 43 of them as part of a dual typing. 11 sit in the 5★ pool and 0 are free starters. The strongest is Koraidon at rank 6 with 115 HP and 135 speed, while Tyrogue sits at rank 951. The median three-stat percentile across the group is 67.4, which is well above the roster average of about 50.
What hits Fighting hardest
fairy, flying and psychic deal double damage into Fighting. It takes half damage from bug, dark and rock. No type is fully blocked by it. For dual-type partners the multipliers stack, so a Fighting partner that also carries a second type can end up with weaknesses that neither type has on its own — check the partner page before assuming Fighting is the defensive story.
Fighting moves and their damage
5 moves in the pool are Fighting. By raw damage per second at level 1 the order starts with Karate Chop at 44 damage per second, Aura Sphere at 27.4 damage per second and Dynamic Punch at 19.4 damage per second. Level 5 and the matching attack multiplier change that order for individual partners, so the partner pages list each pool's own ranking instead of a single site-wide one. 5 of them can evolve, and the evolution is always a card pick during a run, never a permanent purchase.
