How Normal works in PokéSurvivor
The game ships a simplified type chart, not the mainline one, so Normal does not carry every interaction you may remember. It hits nothing for extra damage and is resisted by rock for 0.5×, steel for 0.5× and ghost for 0×. Against everything else it stays at 1×, so Normal damage is a safe default rather than a matchup pick. The chart lives in the same source snapshot as every other number on this page.
Normal partners and where they rank
120 of the 966 partners carry Normal, 47 of them as part of a dual typing. 7 sit in the 5★ pool and 0 are free starters. The strongest is Slaking at rank 4 with 138 HP and 120 speed, while Sentret sits at rank 958. The median three-stat percentile across the group is 48.0, which is roughly level with the roster average of about 50.
What hits Normal hardest
fighting deal double damage into Normal. It resists nothing. It takes nothing at all from ghost. For dual-type partners the multipliers stack, so a Normal partner that also carries a second type can end up with weaknesses that neither type has on its own — check the partner page before assuming Normal is the defensive story.
Normal moves and their damage
7 moves in the pool are Normal. By raw damage per second at level 1 the order starts with Body Slam at 37.9 damage per second, Tackle at 32 damage per second and Quick Attack at 26.7 damage per second. Level 5 and the matching attack multiplier change that order for individual partners, so the partner pages list each pool's own ranking instead of a single site-wide one. 7 of them can evolve, and the evolution is always a card pick during a run, never a permanent purchase.
