How Flying works in PokéSurvivor
The game ships a simplified type chart, not the mainline one, so Flying does not carry every interaction you may remember. It hits bug for 2×, fighting for 2× and grass for 2× and is resisted by electric for 0.5×, rock for 0.5× and steel for 0.5×. Against everything else it stays at 1×, so Flying damage is a safe default rather than a matchup pick. The chart lives in the same source snapshot as every other number on this page.
Flying partners and where they rank
102 of the 966 partners carry Flying, 99 of them as part of a dual typing. 13 sit in the 5★ pool and 1 are free starters. The strongest is Yveltal at rank 12 with 127 HP and 120 speed, while Hoppip sits at rank 920. The median three-stat percentile across the group is 55.7, which is roughly level with the roster average of about 50.
What hits Flying hardest
electric, ice and rock deal double damage into Flying. It takes half damage from bug, fighting and grass. It takes nothing at all from ground. For dual-type partners the multipliers stack, so a Flying partner that also carries a second type can end up with weaknesses that neither type has on its own — check the partner page before assuming Flying is the defensive story.
Flying moves and their damage
5 moves in the pool are Flying. By raw damage per second at level 1 the order starts with Gust at 50 damage per second, Wing Attack at 30.9 damage per second and Aerial Ace at 24 damage per second. Level 5 and the matching attack multiplier change that order for individual partners, so the partner pages list each pool's own ranking instead of a single site-wide one. 5 of them can evolve, and the evolution is always a card pick during a run, never a permanent purchase.
