How Rock works in PokéSurvivor
The game ships a simplified type chart, not the mainline one, so Rock does not carry every interaction you may remember. It hits bug for 2×, fire for 2×, flying for 2× and ice for 2× and is resisted by fighting for 0.5×, ground for 0.5× and steel for 0.5×. Against everything else it stays at 1×, so Rock damage is a safe default rather than a matchup pick. The chart lives in the same source snapshot as every other number on this page.
Rock partners and where they rank
66 of the 966 partners carry Rock, 51 of them as part of a dual typing. 4 sit in the 5★ pool and 0 are free starters. The strongest is Nihilego at rank 14 with 119 HP and 121 speed, while Shuckle sits at rank 966. The median three-stat percentile across the group is 42.1, which is below the roster average of about 50.
What hits Rock hardest
fighting, grass, ground, steel and water deal double damage into Rock. It takes half damage from fire, flying, normal and poison. No type is fully blocked by it. For dual-type partners the multipliers stack, so a Rock partner that also carries a second type can end up with weaknesses that neither type has on its own — check the partner page before assuming Rock is the defensive story.
Rock moves and their damage
5 moves in the pool are Rock. By raw damage per second at level 1 the order starts with Ancient Power at 46.4 damage per second, Rock Throw at 34.3 damage per second and Rock Tomb at 18.2 damage per second. Level 5 and the matching attack multiplier change that order for individual partners, so the partner pages list each pool's own ranking instead of a single site-wide one. 5 of them can evolve, and the evolution is always a card pick during a run, never a permanent purchase.
