How Ground works in PokéSurvivor
The game ships a simplified type chart, not the mainline one, so Ground does not carry every interaction you may remember. It hits electric for 2×, fire for 2×, poison for 2×, rock for 2× and steel for 2× and is resisted by bug for 0.5×, grass for 0.5× and flying for 0×. Against everything else it stays at 1×, so Ground damage is a safe default rather than a matchup pick. The chart lives in the same source snapshot as every other number on this page.
Ground partners and where they rank
70 of the 966 partners carry Ground, 53 of them as part of a dual typing. 4 sit in the 5★ pool and 0 are free starters. The strongest is Garchomp at rank 13 with 119 HP and 121 speed, while Nincada sits at rank 939. The median three-stat percentile across the group is 46.8, which is roughly level with the roster average of about 50.
What hits Ground hardest
grass, ice and water deal double damage into Ground. It takes half damage from poison and rock. It takes nothing at all from electric. For dual-type partners the multipliers stack, so a Ground partner that also carries a second type can end up with weaknesses that neither type has on its own — check the partner page before assuming Ground is the defensive story.
Ground moves and their damage
6 moves in the pool are Ground. By raw damage per second at level 1 the order starts with Bonemerang at 16.8 damage per second, Bulldoze at 15.7 damage per second and Magnitude at 15.7 damage per second. Level 5 and the matching attack multiplier change that order for individual partners, so the partner pages list each pool's own ranking instead of a single site-wide one. 6 of them can evolve, and the evolution is always a card pick during a run, never a permanent purchase.
